We are seeking a highly motivated iPSC professional to join our research team. The successful candidate will play a key role in building an industry-leading iPSC platform to develop life-saving allogeneic cell therapies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Human iPSC cell line development for cell therapy.
  2. Human iPSC cell line characterization and genetic engineering.
  3. Design and perform experiments; collect, analyze and present data to stake holders.
  4. Maintain organized, detailed records to support internal documentation and regulatory filing.
  5. Manage research lab operations, hire and mentor junior scientists.

Skills and Competencies

  1. Feeder-free human iPSC culture maintenance, expansion, and banking.
  2. Human iPSC characterization using flow cytometry, fluoresce microscopy, genotyping and qPCR assays.
  3. Human iPSC single cell sorting and clonal expansion.
  4. Human iPSC CRIPSR genome editing and CRISPR On/Off-target analysis
  5. iPSC lentivirus transduction and integrations site analysis using LM-PCR and NGS.
  6. iPSC differentiation into hematological lineages, such as T and NK cells.
  7. Understanding of allogeneic CAR-T and CAR-NK cell therapies.
  8. Proficiency in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting flow cytometric experiments.
  9. Practical experience in iPSC reprogramming from PBMC or isolated immune cells.
  10. Experience iPSC related work under cGMP condition is preferred.
  11. Able to work independently as well as in a team with diverse background.
  12. Collect, analyze and present data to internal teams and external audiences.
  13. Analyze, interpret and present scientific literature. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  14. A can-do attitude and an ability to adapt to evolving priorities. Able to travel when needed.

Educational Requirement

  1. PhD/MS/MEng in Cell Biology, Bioengineering, Immunology or related field. Title and compensation commensurate with skills, achievements, experience and education.

  4. Maintain organized, detailed records to support internal documentation and regulatory filing.
  5. Manage research lab operations, hire and mentor junior scientists.

Skills and Competencies

  1. Feeder-free human iPSC culture maintenance, expansion, and banking.
  2. Human iPSC precision genome editing using CRIPSR, TALEN, ZFN, Meganuclease or other methods.
  3. Genome editing On/Off-target analysis using PCR, qPCR, digital PCR and NGS.
  4. iPSC engineering using lentivirus, retrovirus or transposase.
  5. Viral vector or transposon integration site analysis using LM-PCR and NGS analysis.
  6. Human iPSC single cell sorting and clonal expansion.
  7. Human iPSC characterization using flow cytometry, fluoresce microscopy, genotyping and qPCR assays.
  8. Understanding of allogeneic CAR-T and CAR-NK cell therapies.

  5. Cell linage tracing during differentiation using Single Cell RNA seq.
  6. Expertise in HSC differentiation, T/NK cell development and fate determination.
  7. Design, implement, and troubleshoot multi-color flow cytometric experiments.
  8. Understanding of allogeneic CAR-T and CAR-NK cell therapies.
  9. Experience in iPSC differentiation and immune cell therapy under cGMP condition is preferred.

  1. Serve as internal immunology expert to develop allogeneic immune cell therapies.
  2. Develop phenotypic and functional assays for analysis of donor and iPSC-derived NK and T cells.
  3. Develop reagents and assays to support CAR binder generation and characterization.
  4. Design and perform experiments; collect, analyze and present data to stake holders.
  5. Maintain organized, detailed records to support internal documentation and regulatory filing.
  6. Manage research lab operations, hire and mentor junior scientists.

Skills and Competencies

  1. Must have hands-on experience with human immune cell isolation, phenotypic and functional analysis.
  2. Experience in Ex vivo NK or T activation, viral transduction and expansion is required.
  3. Experience in Ex vivo NK or T killing assays is required. Experience using Incucyte is preferred.
  4. Experience in In vivo CAR-NK or CAR-T function assay using NSG mice is required.
  5. Experience with allogeneic CAR-NK or CAR-T is required; γδ T cell experience is desirable.
  6. Understanding of allogeneic CAR-T and CAR-NK cell therapies.
  7. Design, implement, and troubleshoot multi-color flow cytometric experiments.
  8. Knowledge HSC differentiation, linage specification, and T/NK cell development.
  9. Experience in immune cell therapy under cGMP condition is preferred.
